The best way to treat nausea and vomiting is to prevent them from occurring. There are several things you can do to help. First and most importantly, be sure to take your medication as prescribed.
Here are some other suggestions:

- Avoid drinking liquids at mealtimes to prevent feeling full. Limit fluids to one hour before or after eating.
- Avoid eating sweets or fried or fatty foods.

- Relax and chew your food well.
